WE DON'T RECOMMEND GETTING BOTH TOGETHER. USE THIS BULB WITH THER REGULAR ON-OF PLUG OR THE ROTATING PLUG. This is an upgrade to the standard incandescent bulb that comes with our night lights. When you order this upgrade, we will substitute the standard bulb with this bulb. It is the recently introduced "filament" type LED. It looks very much like an incandescent bulb, with a tall filament inside the bulb that emits light along its entire length. We had these specially made for us to have the same "warm white" 2700 degrees K. color temperature as an incandescent bulb. It does not have that harsh bluish green light that many LED's have, it looks really nice with our night lights! It runs much cooler, and at .7 watts, it uses 1/10 the power of a regular bulb. It is rated at 15,000 hours, or ten times the lifespan of an incadescent bulb!

Buyer Beware - Terrible Customer...
A friend gave me a Lakeshore Sunset night light as a gift. Unfortunately, the light bulb burned out pretty quickly. I went on Porcelain Garden's web site and found that I could order an LED light bulb which would last a lot longer. Nowhere in the description for the Lakeshore Sunset night light or in the description for the LED bulb did it say that the LED bulb is not compatible with my nightlight. I only found out after I received the LED bulb and it didn't work. I looked at Porcelain Garden's web site again and, after looking at several other nightlights, I saw that LED bulbs are not compatible with nightlights that are made for incandescent bulbs. Too bad that information was omitted from the description for the Lakeshore Sunset nightlight and was also not mentioned in the description for the LED bulb. Long story short, I wasted $9 on an LED light bulb that doesn't work with my nightlight. After learning that the LED bulb didn't work, I sent a message to Porcelain Garden but did not receive a reply. I would have returned the bulb to Porcelain Garden at my expense but, since they didn't even bother to respond to my message, I just threw the bulb away. I was planning to buy more nightlights from them to give as gifts, but I won't do business with a company that has such poor customer service. I ended up buying a dozen incandescent bulbs for less than half of what I would have paid for one bulb from Porcelain Garden.

Love these nightlights and their LED bulbs. They are very attractive and light areas gently, but brightly. They are cool and seem safer for that reason.
